Today I got a new Madone 5.2. Or a Mad One as I like to call it. Wow what an amazing bike. My Dad had it at his shop and he made me a heck of a deal on it. I will get you that money real soon Dad. KC is a pretty awesome town for road riding and it is going to be fun to have a sweet machine to enjoy it on. I road for a bit this morning on it and was floored at how fast it was. It is just simple fun to bomb down hill at over 30 MPH and sprint uphill and do it over again. So speaking of Mad Ones...

Be careful if you're riding on the road in the Olathe/Gardner area. I was the unfortunate victim of some stupid kids while riding west of Olathe on 135th yesterday. They slowed down as they got up along side of me and swing something and hit me right in the back. They obviously didn't stick around to afford me the privilege of getting a hold of them or get a license plate number. From the laughing I could tell they got off on this and will be looking to do it again the next time they see anybody out there. This is par for the course when it comes to road riding abound this area. This was just the most-recent in a long list of incidents i've had riding on the roads in Johnson County.
